About Digibitig
What Digibitig is, who it is for, and how it works.
What Digibitig is
Digibitig is a free, global question-and-answer and discussion community. People come here to ask about the things they are stuck on — a bug that will not go away, a career move they are unsure about, a contract clause they do not understand — and to answer the questions they already know the answer to.
There is no subject restriction. Technology and careers are the busiest areas, but any honest question is welcome.
How it works
Every post has a type, so readers know what kind of response you are looking for before they open it:
- Question — you need a specific answer.
- Discussion — you want opinions and experience, not a single correct answer.
- Problem — something is broken and you need help fixing it.
- Help Request — you need a hand with a task.
- Educational Content — you are teaching something you know.
- Useful Resource — you are sharing something worth reading.
- Opportunities, Announcement, News — time-sensitive posts.
Posts are sorted into categories and tagged, so people who know the subject can find them. When a question gets the answer it needed, the author marks it as solved — that is what turns a thread into something the next person can rely on.
Answer quality
Readers rate posts, and the ratings shape what surfaces. Answers are not moderated into existence before they appear — they go live immediately, and the community and moderators correct what is wrong afterwards. That keeps the site fast without leaving bad information standing.
Your profile
A profile is more than a username. You can record your work experience, education, certifications, skills and the languages you speak, at the level you actually speak them. That context helps other members judge an answer, and it helps you when someone is looking for exactly your kind of expertise.
Members who want to confirm they are who they say they are can apply for a verified badge. Verification is optional; the site works fully without it.
Languages
Digibitig runs in many languages. The interface follows the language you choose, and when you write a post you can say which language you would prefer answers in — so a question asked in one language does not have to be answered in another.
What it costs
Asking, answering, reading and building a profile are free, with no limits and no advertising standing between you and an answer. The only paid item is the optional verification badge.
Taking part
Create an account, confirm your email address, and post. Before you do, it is worth reading the community rules — they are short, and they explain what gets a post removed.
